The Little Free Music Library that was donated to the IMHP last summer was recently vandalized.

You may have noticed the Little Free Music Library outside under the awning when you visited the IMHP. It is similar to the Little Free Libraries around the city but had a specific purpose to spread Indiana music. Take an item, leave an item. Spread literacy and sound. It was to become part of a house concert exhibit coming soon.

There were several involved in bringing this project to life including friends and supporters of the Little Flower House Concert Series, Claude McNeal Productions, and local artists. Local musicians, music enthusiasts, Joyful Noise Recordings, and The Church of Noise regularly donated CDs, Zines, books, download cards, and more to the library.

Unfortunately, the Little Free Music Library was vandalized and now needs repair. We will spare the sad details of it’s destruction. Local woodworker Adam Menchinger who built the library is going to help us with the repairs! Please consider donating to this fundraiser so that we can restore the library and replenish it with great music content!  Note that once restored, the Little Free Music Library will be available to access inside the IMHP at a new interactive exhibit during regular hours.

$350 is needed to repair and restore the Little Free Music Library.

Thank you for your donation in any amount.
